^ Really poor from Ferrari not to support Sainz on the podium.
Despite not having his contract renewed, he is giving his all for the team.
Yes, he is in the shop window for 2025 but he deserves better.

I'd agree, not sure why Ferrari have a preference for Leclerc over Sainz. Sainz is the better driver in my opinion. Sure Leclerc is king in qualifying but he rarely converts that in a race, typically finishing behind Sainz, if he finishes at all.
Yes speed may be needed for a team to win, but consistency gains more points.

Looks like the Horner saga isn't going to go away!
Rumours of Jos talking to Toto. Not sure how I'd feel about Max in a Silver Arrow

I think that this is all bluster on the part of Jos Verstappen to oust Horner from his role. It's obvious that there's little love lost between Verstappen senior and Horner, especially after Horner had him removed from the RB garage last season. Jos is a pretty toxic character at the best of times.

I doubt that Verstappen junior will leave RB this side of 2026, especially whilst Newey remains in charge of design. The RB20 is a known quantity and even at this stage obviously better than anything else on the track at the moment. He'd be a fool to give that up with potential championships in the offing. The power plant changes in 2026 will be another matter entirely.

It's suspicious that we have the story about alleged WhatsApp messages between Horner and a female colleague leaked to a Dutch newspaper first. If these messages related to the recent complaint then I think that the woman in question would have already passed them on during the investigation and Horner wouldn't have been cleared.

I don't think that RB have covered anything up, as their CEO publicly stated that he wants Horner gone. I suspect that the whole scenario is a political exercise to eject Horner without severance pay. He's obviously rubbed a lot of people at RB up the wrong way.

It is turning into a witch hunt, apparently Horner is now suing an F1 magazine for publishing new allegations and naming his accuser.

I think the WA messages are fabricated and Jos is getting too big for his boots and probably wants the TP role for himself

What a cutthroat business it is. Imagine poor George's feelings if Max does get the seat!

What exactly is Jos Verstappen's current job title?
Is he just Max's advisor and manager?
He is probably the worst role model anyone could have.
Crap driver, wife beater and child abuser. I fancy he still has a hold on Max even now.

The Horner business is dragging on far too long. Until fully closed, Verstappen Snr should keep his trap shut.
I'm no lover of Christian Horner or Red Bull, but this really does need closure.

These new leaks, are they real? If so, another complete investigation on these WhatsApp messages and photos is needed immediately.
If guilty, sack him, if innocent, say so and move on. But get on with it.

As for Max leaving RB and signing for Mercedes next season. Wishful thinking IMO. If Newey left to join Ferrari, maybe he'd think about it, but why would anyone leave Red Bull for a team still to convince its back to competing evenly with them.

These new leaks, are they real?
I suspect not. The telling point is that the files released are apparent screenshots of WhatsApp messages. As such they are a less reliable source than actual WhatsApp messages, which have far more information embedded within them that can be used to pinpoint time, date and source of origin.
If the messages were real, wouldn't the lady in question still have a copy of the messages or have backed them up?

Well done to Oliver Bearman. First time performance in F1 deserves praise. He might not have been happy with it, but he should be.
Agreed, and he wasn't just lucky - he pulled off a couple of cracking overtake moves against much more experienced drivers.

What a blow after a cracker of a weekend last week, I’m going to assume he’ll miss the next race too with recovery?

He was in the pits watching the race and says he will be back for Aus in 2 weeks
