Some incredibly kind people pushed me into a parking space. .......

When the crank sensor failed on EmilysMum's Smart Roadster, I was halfway across the road intending to turn right. I had traffic queueing from both sides as I sat there unable to move the car. A car full of lads offered to push as I tried to explain that it's semi-auto & stuck in gear. Eventually, a combination of turning the engine over & shifting the gear selector, it went into neutral, and was pushed out of the way.

On a positive note, I wonder why they are still being built in the same antiquated way,,, you have this coil with copper wire around an iron core, all potted in a hard plastic case, all materials with different expansion points the could have not potted them right up to the top and coiled the connections to the socket
