The SL Corrosion Attention; Spring 2014

Corrosion appearing on the lips of the rear wheel arches was attended to in March 2010 by Liam Kenny on behalf of MB UK. The corrosion reappeared and on careful inspection it is clear that this was predominantly a ''clean up and masking exercise'' with nothing removed from the car.
I commissioned Multi-Tech to do the job properly which includes the removal of the rear ''bumper'', cill covers, rear light clusters, antennae etc.
The images show the extent of the corrosion and the process of ''rectification'' by Multi-Tech
At the time the car was just over 10.5 years old and had covered just over 97k miles in all weather conditions throughout all the seasons.
The car was and is garaged.
