Could you not hire a Transporter and do it yourself.

Collected one from Horsham and went up to Derby to collect a Car.
Worked out £100 a day plus fuel.
Can't you tell a recovery service you have broken down and need to get back to Kent
I think £300 is quite decent Alex, I doubt you’ll get (much) better....I could do, but it will likely work out to a similar cost, exept I lose 2-3 days doing it as well. I have an indiactive price of approx £300 delivered.
A friend of mine has one, I could probably borrow, but with ferry/fuel etc, it will probably cost me £200 and 2 days at least.

I hear you- as I said give Barry @ A1 a shout/mail you never know he might have a recovery and driver lying spareI agree, that price was from the seller though, rather than the shipping company, I will give his guy a call as well. Trying to use a third party shipper, as the money needs to be paid as its loaded up rather than on delivery

I have used shiply a few times. They have been quite good but not used them for cars. I have put a job up so will see what they say.
It was a joke buddyNaughty.
Practices like this cost all of us in higher premiums.
@alexanderfoti how did you get on with this ?
Try shiply, wait a day or so for all the quotes to come in. Ive used shiply in the past for heavy gym equipment and car parts and sure someone on there can do vehiclesHi all.
I need to collect a vehicle from Belfast to my workshop. Its a non runner so needs to be transported.
Can anyone recommend a good transport company? I have a few but most of them go up and down from/to Scotland so they will be a bit spendy!
