Ooo where is this discount? I thought I had to pay monthly to be a member or something to get that discount? Seriously like where is this discount? I’m gonna search this whole forum right now!
It’s a discount being offered by some Mercedes dealers on the service plans. Nothing to do with this forum so no membership qualification.

In a City a big as Birmingham there will be a few different dealerships and they are all competing with each other, give them a call and see what's on offer?

There are three Birmingham MB dealerships, Central, Erdington and Solihull all operated by LSH so you may need to go further afield to find some real competition or possibly they are run and operated with some autonomy? have a phone round and see?

I don’t know if I will find another this new and low mileage. The rest of them are like 2015 plates and 15k with similar mileage...
Thank you guys so so much... I’m going to mull this all over, speak to the dealer again, ring the finance company and then see what to do.
There’s always another car... don’t put blocks up around yourself saying you might not find another. Cast the net wide

Well if you find one in the next 5 days please do let me know. I could then cancel the insurance without having to pay much.

Google is your friend, search auto-trader with what you’re looking for.

I have... constantly, mind-numbingly... not found anything even close to £11k with that reg and mileage yet.

What’s is the spec and mileage and I’m sure a few of us here will take a look at autotrader for a similar car

The dealer so willing to give you the money back is possibly because he has been rumbled.

TAKE THE MONEY and run,

just think forward to when you come to sell this car or trade it in and think how you are going to explain away the issues on here.

RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN.

Think about leasing a car and get some advice from the leasers on here.

I bought the car with the intention to never sell it. I have no intention of selling. I do not lease as I like to own a car and not borrow it. I do not take out cars on finance, as I do not want to pay extra money on top of the worth of the car (the interest payments).
I’m just waiting for a reply from the dealer. I have asked him to give me a partial refund which would help cover the cost of the Mercedes service.

This 1000%

The reason your car was so cheap, was due to no service history and of course the category damage. If you want to keep the car forever, all the more reason to get one with a sound history.

Edit: there will be a way around the Suzuki issue. Either they still have it and return it, or they don't and they refund you the amount you paid less the part exchange value they gave you for the suzuki.

If anyone can find me one with similar spec then I will go for it 1000%. Seriously
