Currently, I have (the original) 1998 Tele Atlas CD in my command system. I would like to upgrade this to the latest version, which I understand is labelled as 2004 / 2005. The MB 'stealership' has just quoted me £139.83 for one of these  !! The other thing they said is that I need the 'non dx' system - whatever that means!

Does anybody know exactly what disc I should be looking for and where I can get it for less than £140?

Thanks,
John

Hi Pascal,

I have the Auto Pilot APS 4, which is not as impresive as the picture you show. It was factory fitted to my W140.

So I think I need the following disc:

EAN n°
978 9042 803827

ISBN°
90-428-0382-4

I have found it on navshop for £92, which I still think is expensive, for just a CD!

The hunt continues...........

Cheers,
John

Got one on Ebay

Got the teleatlas 2004/5 Great Britain one. Cost £84 inc. P&P. It's definately better than the 1998 disc I had but it still has its faults :(

Oh well. We spend, live and learn!

Seems 'real'

EBay copy John?

No,

It was a genuine one from Ebay. Well, so I was led to believe! It's in the original box and the CD labelling looks genuine.

I have noticed that the 'back up' copies <cough, cough!> seem to be going for a large price though.
