03 E320 squeeking noise?

I have an 03 E320 with a squeeking noise. it sqeeks when you turn the wheel or just driving. really anoying. dose anyone else have this prob? I will clean it and it will slightly go away but it will return shortly> Help.

The squeeking will most likely be coming from a front suspension ball joint, which is worn.

When you wash it some water may enter the ball joint and provide temporary relief!

You need to get someone to turn the steering lock to lock while you have a listen and feel to see which joint is at fault. Be carefull not to trap yourself in any moving parts!!!

i think mine has a problem like this it sounded like a tram after mercedes replaced the front pads and when i was turning and breaking it was clicking. i took it in and they said the anti rattle clips had collapsed, when i got the car it is still clicking they fobbed me off saying it was abit of dirt on the disc and gave me it back still clicking, a month later (today) its making a really lound screeming noise again especially on right turns and the clicking just got a whole lot worse. its going in tomorrow morning for repair i will let you know what it is but got a feeling its the break pads again. I went mad with the guy on the phone for this going every month and i use the car for chauffeur work so means it costs me money everytime its off the road. he said were only human, i asked why they dont charge normal prices if they are still going to make mistakes however he was unable to answer that question
