I'm having trouble syncing the contacts of a Nokia E51 with a COMMAND system in an ML500 (07) over bluetooth. (cradle swapped out for SAP V2)
The bluetooth connection works fine, calls can be received/made etc., and the sim contacts are visible, but when I try and copy the phone contacts to the COMMAND system all I get is a "system error" on the phone.
The phone is configured to sync using "Mail For Exchange" back to our email server at work if that makes a difference. When I enter 0000 on the COMMAND and press the handset button, I get a "please wait", some activity on the phone, and then after 3-4 minutes, I get the error.
I've tried sending a "business card" of one of the contact to the COMMAND system as well - but that fails too. Not sure if that is supposed to work, but it may help diagnose the problem.
Dealer and Merc customer service have been close to useless, repeatedly quoting the sentence from the manual, which in this case is not working. The Nokia E51 is one of the "recommended" handsets according to the brochure.
What am I doing wrong? Anyone using a Nokia E51 (or similar Symbian phone) with their COMMAND ?
Any help/advice appreciated.
Thanks
