08 B class rear door handle broke child lock on

Hi all

Have an 08 B class and rear nearside door handle broke this morrning with child lock on, I heard internal mechanism fall within door panel.
Now can no longer open the door, if anyone has had experience of this and any solution (s ) however bad it may be will be much appreciated
