100W bulbs

I was thinking of putting 100W bulbs in my car but I am afraid to do so after reading these posts but I still want 100W bulbs you say that the wiring can overheat
I was thinking of rewiring the headlights with 6mm cooker or shower cable do you think this would be adequate to take the extra power that will be needed to run these Bulbs.

No I will try them at midnight on Hogmanay just in case all fails and it melts the wires and goes on fire it will always do as a large firework to bring in the new year
