Hello,

I've currently got a 107 sl. It's An A reg 500 sl, the probelm i have is that i removed the dash pod to replace the rheostat for the dash pod illlumination and to replace the flasher relay. When I refitted the dash pod and operated the left indicator the fuel, temp and oil presuure gauges operate instead of the indicator tell tale, When indicating right the o/s pod illumination flashes instead of right tell tale? Ive tried refitted old parts but is is still the same???
I've got a feeling that it could be an earth probelm but i havnt got a wiring diagram to check wires out of pod!!!

Thanks for any info anyone can give!

Thanks for that, the pictures are good!! I will have to read through and see what words I know! I wish i had taken more notice in german lessons at school LOL! Was working on it today and i'm sure its a bad earth just tring to get a wiring diagram to trace through the wires and check which one is the main earth as there is not just a brown wire. There is a few brown wires but they have alll got different colour traces on them!!

Thanks again

We use babel fish to translate all our office notices into Japanese and back to English, it makes them more enjoyable to read if nothing else.

Just thought I would let you know I finally got to the bottom of the probelm today! I was a bad earth and the probelm was found on the circuits on the back of the speedo head! Circuit on board were abit flakey so the piece must have fallen out when I removed the pod. Now all repaired and working!!!

Thank you for your help!!!
