107 wiper motors

Hi,
Can any fellow mb owners advise if the wiper motors from any other model will fir the 107 300 SL (1989), these cost a fortune new and for some other reason much cheaper on different models tfor the same year, Or where i can get them overhauled. Thanks Tony

theres a slight chance i might have one - i have a huge box of spares offr a 450 SLC in my garage.

i will also check my EPC to see the part number... the first three digits tell you what model its off.. unless its 000 in which case its a generic part

they might be the same as the ones

on the S class of that vintage, as they had the same two wipers over to one side set up, and most of the rude mechanicals on the 107 are S-class derived. Sadly, that doesn't make them any more common, as most of those s's have gone heavenwards by now. Try Mercman in the week, they might have some, or Dronsfields.
