108 cdi limp mode

Hi to all
A new memeber am i.
Could anyone he;p
my vito 108 cd1 2000 90,000 miles has just gone into what i now know since reading the forums as limp mode.
can anyone help or advise what i need to.

I have an e320 that was just doing the same - I changed the Mass air flowmeter (£50 for an imported one off e bay inc delivery) and the car now runs fine.

Hi,
I also have a 108 cdi with 90,000 and it too has just gone into limp mode. Have you solved the problem and if so what did you do as this is driving me nuts

This thread is five years old. Better to start a new one.

But in the first instance you will have to get the fault codes read as it is all electronically controlled no one will have any real idea without a fault code.
