12 volt reducer 207d for heater plugs (help)

hi new to this recently bought a 207d that has been converted to a camper but the ignition piece that you pull out to start is gone ive been told its apull start you pull out to put power to heater plugs then push in and start with the key i dont know what this is called and definatly havent a clue where to get one from aparently it reducers 12 volt to 9 volt for the heater plugs any help would be really apreciated many thanks and happy new year to you all

Sounds a bit weird. I had an 86 307D which should basicly be the same van apart from GVW ratings. What age is your van as mine had the more normal turn key to position 2 then wait for yellow light to go out then to position 3 to start engine.

I'm with Steve on this one. Drove an X plate (82?) 307d and an A plate (84?) 207d. Both were panel vans. I'm trying to remember but I reckon both were traditional...ie turn to position 2 til light goes out then position 3 to start. There was another knob on the dash tho which you turned to alter tickover speed, useful when cold.
