i have removed the rear subframe so a can renew all the bushes and arms ect but a cant get the prop shaft to come out of the diff. A know the correct way is to start at the front/gear box and work back but because i have dropped the subframe and taken everything off all a need to do is split the prop/diff .A have positoned the cv joint thats in the middle of the prop so it allows me to lower the rear of the prop and diff but keeping the prop and diff still in line .Can anyone help cheers

Ther is a long centralising spigot and you will need to move the prop back a couple of inches lengthways.

Just about to do the same job myself on an R129, starting this weekend.

David, thanks for the info about the propshaft, that will save me time.

Bigslim, any tips and tricks from your subframe removal job?
