When my front courtesy light is switched to the normal position, it stays on all the time, not going off after a delay when the front doors are closed. I suspect there is a faulty relay, am I right and does anyone know which one it is?

Also, while checking the courtesy light, I discovered something inside the fitting that is not explained in my Haynes manual. It is to the left of the light fitting and is connected to a rubber hose, can anyone tell me what it is?

The rubber hose has a fan at the other end which draws air in through the pipe. The air tempreature is monitored and is used to control your heater/aircon settings.

You can play around with this by aiming cold air from the centre vent directly at the light and confuse the system into believing the temperature is cooler than it really is - sends my wife crazy ... heh heh

As for the relay, I cant really help although I guess there must also be a timer for the delay which I would also suspect.
