Hi all,

If I get caught in stop-start traffic my 280e starts to hunt a little and get generally unhappy about everything, almost stalling when coming off the brake.

The temp gauge reads just over 80 but that may be a little misleading as most of the gauges at this point are dancing in time with the hunting. The problem goes away after a few minutes movement.

It feels electrical or temperature related to me, anyone got some pointers?

Cheers

If it is only at low revs it may be the EGR valve sticking. There is a thread here about taking it off the car and freeing it with WD40. I did this to my 220E about 18 months ago and it's been perfect since.
