Got a tidy 300SE 1990 with165k on the clock.I'm trying to make the handling a bit better. It rolls through bends but stays on line. The shocks dont bounce too much when you push the wings down, but that could be because of it's weight.I thought about lowering it by 45mm coutesy of a Ventura lowering kit and putting a new set of bilstein shocks. It might look a bit tarted up 45mm lower so I'm wondering if the new shocks will do the trick -- I'm assuming it's still on originals.Anyone any similar experience please.

I´ve been "in touch" once with a lowered W126, so prepare to loose quite a bit of the comfortable ride... =) But otherwise they look quite "sporty" if you can call it that, when they´re lowered. =D The handling is of course improved also (on tarmac...) Personnally I prefer the very soft ride instead of the looks (got tired of my previous car, a Honda, that was hard as a rock, and you could feel every little stone on the road...), but that´s just my opinion.
