Hi welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about the problem.

I generally have no trouble with mine, but took the hardtop off recently. I think I may have released the button too early - immediately I heard the hardtop pop up. I couldn't get the soft-top to go up (I must admit I didn't note the roll over bar light).

I secured the hard top again, then started afresh and all was well - and has been fine since.

Can you repeat the process, or have you got stuck with the hard top on, but the lights showing?

Thanks every body found out that its the battery that needs replacing and although battery was good enough to start car it is not strong enough to do all the roof things. I managed to get it reset at my local merc dealers.
Do i need to take special care changing the battery on the car and will i need to get the car reset again

Nothing to worry about in changing the battery on that 129, just memorize the windows and roll bar

129 Roof movement on battery

Although the roof mechanism should be able to be elevated and parked on battery alone, I have always saved the load by having the engine running. Don't know if I should or not, but I feel it saves the battery a bit.

And I did the same, just that few extra volts, and that means less current flowing
