Has anyone tried to fix the gap at rear bumper top middle? I can take pictures if it would help. I can not believe my 96 SL is the only SL that is doing this. I did remove rear bumper, and it appears you could add middle brackets to support the bumper as there are spots where it looks like M.B. made places to add brackets on the inner bumper support, also there are holes in rear body panel. Almost like they used these supports, and then deleted them at some point.
