Afternoon all,

I have a set of 16" spoke wheels on my 04 plate W211 (Rucha??). I have always preferred the Ankaa wheels. I have seen a set that are 17".

So, my current set up is 225/55/16, the proposed is 245/45/17.

Any abvious issues?

Many Thanks

Richard

Thanks, I reason that the profile should be unchanged. I also can't believe that MB would provide a different suspension set up for different wheels (unless ultra wide etc..).

p.s, working on Mrs E to let me come to the GTG as we are holidaying in Cornwall with little Miss E that week.

The will be fine, if they were from a 211 then they will have 14mm bolt holes, a 210 uses 12mm

I have the Ankaa's on my 211. She's running on 245/45/17s as you describe. It does tend to tramline a bit on rutted motorways and the ride is a bit harsher and of course the tyres are more expensive but it does look a whole lot nicer and handling is better. I specifically went looking for the Ankaa wheels when I bought mine. I just don't like the look of the standard alloys.
On original fitment the Ankaas are listed with 'Sports Suspension' as a compulsory requirement but there are lots of people with 17" alloys on standard setups so I can't see it being a problem.
