Have a 170 type SLK where the rear window has failed, although the roof is still operating.
Is there anything that is common on these,& if it is the motor does it need to be programmed in?
Thanks in advance.

Thats the ones-they only work (or in this case, one went down but not up) with the roof.
Coming in later in the week,so I thought it best to do a little research.

I have sent you 4 papers on doing the job, the amount of dismantling will start you wishing that you had a sweet shop, rather than repairing cars:D;)

Just for reference, the job was a doddle.
It's worth spending time getting the window glass positioned in the new regulator as close to the old one (I used a jig of plywood & nails, took 10 mins) as possible in order to save time on the adjustments.
