18” mono block E55 wheels

I’ve recently totalled my car!
It’s got 2002 AMG wheels I’ve been hearing the wheels are worth a lot of money? How much are they really worth?

I haven’t claimed! The bus that cut me up I think was unaware and never stopped! I hit a central reservation barrier and that was that! I’m fully comp and have never had an accident or claimed for anything! 9+ years no claims! I’ve done research and get mixed views some say my insurance will go through the roof and others say it won’t affect my premium I’ll only loose this years no claims?

If you had no claims protection, you should claim right away. Otherwise it's a profit & loss equation.

Cheers for that! I just had a look and to be fair they’re nice wheels in good condition! And much cheaper than I thought! Something’s only worth what people want to pay.... Have you seen a YouTube video on sleeper cars? The first cars an E 55 and the fella narrating the video says the wheels are worth thousands.... must say they are nice on some Merc’s but not thousands nice

If you know the bus company contact them with date and time and location. They should be able to identify which bus. Many buses have dash cams these days so you may be able to get enough information to claim off their insurance.

I don’t know the company it was an old double decker maybe a private company... it wasn’t one of the common busses.. usually I would take notes but it was at low speed and I really wasn’t expecting it! But on the upside I picked up my new s class yesterday

They are nice wheels and look great on R129s. I keep thinking of getting some for mine but can't really justify it.

If they were the 3 piece ones in 17" they're worth a fortune.

This is where a dashcam really pays for itself. You would probably have at least got the registration and been able to trace the bus company.
