I’m considering fitting a set of 18” non staggered wheels with winter tyres.
Are there any issues with insurance or other issues I need to be aware of?

My current, factory fit wheels are 19” staggered.
The ones I’m considering are 8.5x18H2 ET43.5

thanks

Not if they’re an approved size and speed rating from the manual

Nope! Nothing in any of the books I have mentions the approved (or any other) sized wheels?
My main question is the ET fit. the wheels are 34.5 (ignore the typo in the first post)
Any idea where I can find the info?

There will be a winter tyre option - these cars are sold heavily on the continent where they have to fit winter wheels / tyres

I Can have 16", 17" or 18" wheels and tyres on mine with widths from 205 to 245

I have a staggered summer setup on 16" wheels (205 and 225) and a "square 205 setup on my winter wheels - all are listed in the handbook

Thank you. I can’t find the relevant section in what my book calls the Owners Manual.
None of the other myriad of brochures I have even come close 789365AB-8CF4-4012-8F1C-C29BE55C982E.jpeg

Has anyone ever heard of an insurance claim being denied because the wrong wheels were fitted ?

What I have done, following on from Malcolms suggestion is emailed alloy wheels direct and asked them.

An answer from Alloyeheelsdirect

If you want to strictly comply with MB OEM recommendations for winter fitment you would need the ET 34.5 on all 4 wheels. The other fitment with the different ET and width in the rear is for summer fitments.
