Hi, Could anyone please tell me the best tool to use to remove the top starter bolt(17mm head) on my 1985 190 2 litre. I've tried a combination spanner, and using a ring spanner back to front to try to clear the bulkhead, all to no avail.HELP!.:-(

Hi, Thanks for the reply, actually I've tried using an extension & UJ from underneath but then theres no room to turn the ratchet because its wedged tight in the transmission tunnel.
Please could you tell me where 124 works are situated?.
Thanks.WILDCAT.
