Hello,
new to this board! hi everyone!,
just aquired a 1986 2.3 cosworth after owning and still owning a 1986 2.0e for 3 years.
had no problems with my 2.0 (with p.a.s) but after a week of owning this 2.3 it started leaking power steering fluid, i checked underneath and it looks like its coming from the compression fitting rubber pipe that goes from the box on the rack and down to a fitting that goes under the engine, it was leaking from this top bit so much it drained the pump reservoir, i topped it up and managed to get home then it only leaked a drop when i got back.. am really not sure what to do!!!
dont think i can get in to change the pipe as the exhaust manifold is such a big snakes pit! and i can only just see it, what should i do? can i get one of these pipes? or should i try to take it off, take the car off the road and get one made by a local pipe fitting shop.
many thanks!
Oliver
