Thought you might like to know that changing the OVP relay as you suggested would seem to have cured the problem. Very many thanks. Of course it is early days yet but I fitted a s/h relay ( £23 inclusive), of same Part No but slightly different design dated 1992 vice 1990 stamped on the original. Idle RPM seem to have stabalised never dropping below 700. On de-clutching I now get a fairly quick but steady drop in revs to 1000 followed by a gentle "bleed" down to 700 and of course no stalling, as opposed to the sudden drop to zero which I had been getting before. I will post my appreciation later on the forum and pass on your suggestion to all those others who seem to suffer same or similar symptoms.
