I have a 1991 Registration 190E 2.0 which starts to stutter and regularly stop after 5-10 minutes of driving. It only happens in cold or slighhtly cold weather and when the car hasn't been started for longer than a day. It's almost like the automatic choke doesn't turn itself off after the vehicle has warmed up. Has anyone else experienced this problem, and can anyone advise me how to solve it?
Thanks

This sounds similar to the problem I have had with my1991 190E. Have a look at my thread on "190 starting problem". It might not be the same but the fact that the problem appears in cold weather when the car hasn't been started for a day looks familiar.
