Ok, having tried the OVP with no cure, I ordered a Fuel Pump Relay which arrived today.

Car would stall intermittantly at the most awkward (and sometimes dangerous) moments, but once warm was OK. Last night I sat and let the car idle rather than try and drive anywhere. On 3 occasions until the car was warm the engine just stopped - electrics OK but engine stops. Car has become quite difficult to start from cold as well.

With new FPR fitted, improvements immediately obvious. From cold, engine started almost immediately and idles at just under 1000rpm. No stall all the way from cold to engine at normal temperature.

So as long as no stalling while driving from cold, looks like the cure.

Ray.
