190e Alloys Help Needed Please!!

hello people im a new member here and im hoping some of you professionals can help me out.

iv just got myself a mercedes 190e, having purchased PI lowering springs which are getting fitted next week im also looking for a set of alloys.

I think iv found the perfect set on ebay the links

but the problem is i dont know if these are actually fine for my car even though the guy claims he had them on his 190e, im worried that putting them on may be causing extra problems.

for example are they likely to start rubbing? am i going to trash my gear box? is the speedo not going to work properly etc etc.

im realy stuck with what to do here.

if anyone can help me out by having a look at the details of the alloys on the ebay listing and tell me what they think as for the suitability to my car and the pros and cons of fitting them i will be very grateful.

what you need

is the ET of a normal, factory set of 190 wheels, and then you need the ET of the wheels on offer. I note, like a lot of e-bay sellers, this chap hasn't included all the info. they may well have been on another 190, and they might not have fit that either. Get the ET from the seller, it has to be stamped on the wheel somewhere. Post it up here and someone will be able to help you work out whether they will fit in theory.

Also, such low-profile tyres will give you a VERY bumpy ride. Not really what a Merc. is all about!
