190e auto gear box

done head refurbish plus skim.put back together starts ok but does not change gear now, have reverse,can any body help.

I cant think what this could be, something caught up, the gear selector is on its own and nowhere near the head

Check your vacuum lines are on the correct pegs as any left off or miss placed can cause either no gears or jerky gears.

Thats right, OK it is a tight squeeze at the rear end of the engine where every thing drops down.. I will go to sleep on it
