I have a question to put to you on behalf of my old man who is interested in purchasing a late model 190E. The only sticking point in getting one concerns the door mirrors. Where he lives he shares a rather narrow driveway and really needs the door mirrors on any car to fold in. Having looked at 190's now, their mirrors seem to be sprung loaded and do not stay folded :? . My question is therefore, is there any way that these mirrors can be made to stay folded, or are there replacements, or any other advice regarding a solution to this problem, as it would be a real shame to be stymied by such a trivial thing.
