Hi, I want to replace the rear speakers and I might as well fit some bigger ones so can somebody advise me how to remove the rear shelf as painlessly as possible? Need to get the thing out so I can cut new holes it it. Thanks.

You will first have to remove the rear seat, the base is removed by two push in clips at the front and the rear by 3 10mm bolts, now you can slide the rear parcel shelf out.

Thanks. So the rear seat base sounds easy to remove, does the whole back section need to come out of the car or does it just slide out of the way enough for me to remove the shelf?

Take the full rear seat out of car as the rear parcel shelf comes over the edge and behind the seat.
