190E Rear Door panel- removal tips ?

I need to remove the rear door panel in my 190E..

However I need to know which,if any, tools do i need ?


Any help appreciated.

You need a phillps screwdriver, a standard scoket set, and a bit more patience than me, it was not difficult but I tore mine off and had to glue the plastic securing grips back onto the rear surface of the trim...I havent put it back on yet.

Rear Door Pannel on 190E

Easy to do! First: Remove the small plastic cover around the latch at the rear of the inside of the door, one screw hold this on. Next: take the little plastic part off around the top of the plastic handle used to pull the door closed, you will find a 10 mm bolt to take out. Next: Press in on the door pannel in front of the plastic which holds the door latch handle and slide the plastic forward about a half of an inch. You should be able to pull the latch and cover out, pressure from the door latch spring is what holds this in place. Once you have this out, lift up carefully working back and forth as needed to slip the door pannel off. Hope this is of some help!
