190E Windscreen wipers

Hi,
Was wondering if anyone had any ideas. My 1992 190E 1.8 has developed a fault on the indicator/wiper stalk. The indicators still work, but the wipers won't turn on, nor can I flash my main beam. The main beam works if it push forward to the 'hold' position.
Could this be loose wiring or am I looking at replacing the whole unit and roughly how much is that!!
I know without looking at it, it's hard to diagnose, but any suggestions would be appreciated.

Indicator stalk is probably your problem. It is also called a combination switch.

Get a second hand one from a breakers. Easy to fit too

Have you checked the fuses? I don't have my old 190e Haynes manual now, but its worth have a good look for a blown white fuse.
