190E Wiper motor not operating

It happened about March time when we had some snow (iknow march and snow - mental).

Well the windscreen was full of snow and stupidly insteed of clearing the snow manually I tried t use the wipers. They wipers started and made it half way up the screen before it stopped and since then has not worked.

I think I need to change the motor for this. Does anyone know how much this is likely to cost.

Have you checked your fuses, even if the fuse has not blown take it out , clean the holder and the ends of the fuse then try again.
The motors have a thermal cutout to prevent damage in an overload situation so its unlikely you damaged the motor unless you caused it to overload 3or4 times.
