1991 model genuine low mileage runs fine until easing off approaching traffic lights, roundabout etc. Then cut outs. On a manual you would probably say it had stalled. It's an intermittent fault. When this happens I turn off, put into park or neutral and it will start again straight away.
Any ideas?

Caroline,
Sorry but I haven't a clue either - not my area I'm afraid. But there are pleny of people on here that will have.

This is just what sclass does (I think this is what passes for entertainment where he comes from, though you'd think life was exciting enough out there at the moment !) I have no doubt incurred his wrath myself now but what the hell. :)
cheers,
Julian

Do a search on the forum for OVP relay. I think you'll find this is the most likely candidate.
