Does anyone recall the specification of the 1993 190E run out model?

I can remember the last of the 190E' cars being badged up LE with alloys + Met paintwork as the 'C' class models came in the UK.

At the time one look at the C class 'handbrake' put me right off the new model.

My long term project is to turn a May 1993 190E into an LE spec - who can help me out with the specification?

Or advise which MB accessories add to the pleasure of driving a 190E?

Thanks for prompt reply - any change to the LE Steering Wheel ? I always planned to swop for a 'sportline' wheel but cannot recall if you can adapt for an air bag as fitted my vehicle

HI..
I have a showroom cond' 01.08.93 registered Brilliant Silver exterior/Black cloth interior 190E 2.0 with the LE spec you listed plus factory air and Burl Walnut trim inc' the gear shift, also Cosworth spoiler fitted by the original dealer (Alan Day London). I guess this is a runout model? I'm in the process of building a history file, contacting original owner, dealers who serviced etc. A pristine late model 190E is a sweet car indeed - such a pity most of the ones you see on the road have been so mistreated. PM me if you want to discuss further, I'm interested in finding out all I can about this great car.
Cheers, Geoff.

Lucky sod yes.......
Or maybe not! I told myself I would never ever buy a second hand car again a few years ago - I'm just way too fussy with anything electronically or mechanically related.. Anyway, I purchased the 190E thinking I would be happy and within a week my natural self kicked in and suddenly everything on it had to be absolutely perfect. It's nearly all finished, has been fun, I can afford the expense and I end up with probably one of the best original examples of this model left on the road. None of that insane new car depreciation either...so I guess I shouldn't complain. I will be posting a bunch of photos sometime in the next month or so of the finished result.
Cheers, Geoff.
