1966 230 Fintail

I am looking at a 1966 230 Fintail. Exterior and interior good, engine runs well. Have not checked exhaust system for rust. Slight rust at rocker panels and front lights. Anyone have an idea of value? Thanks

According to classic car mag: dealer- 7000, mint- 5250, average- 2750, rough- 1300.

I would say it's a decent running project and doesn't look like a rust bucket. Nice colour too but no pic/ description of the interior. Surely the seller could have dropped a few more words in the ad esepcially when selling on ebay is so convenient!

I would say the condition is average and my opinion is that the recommended price on the various mags tend to be a tag bit higher too.

The question is, what's with the interior? The engine should be a straight forward and not too expensive overhaul. 80k on the clock (if authentic) is excellent for a car this age. Chrome is expensive stuff to sort out though and I could see dents on the rear bumper. This could be hefty.
