Yes very nice and it cost more than my detached house in a good part of Watford back in the late 60's

I have had my eye on a very low mileage original gem for a while, apart from a blue smoke issue it appears to be outstanding.

Is that a Mercedes part number on the arm ?

Beautiful! Lovely car and a great job.

Last year I saw one by the roadside near my house on Gozo, so I stopped to admire it. The owner came out of an old terraced house nearby, and we got talking - as you do.
'I've got three.' he said. 'This one has done 7,000 miles now.'

When I told him how much they sell for in the UK, he didn't seem surprised.
'I would never sell one', he told me, 'because I like them'.

So I consoled myself by thinking how easily they rust!
