I posted a while back on my Mercedes 250C (now confirmed as a C with a CE engine transplant at some point in its life).
Restoration is progessing nicely, a new Idle Air Control Valve from Mercman, new hoses & a complete check on the D-Jetronic system by my brother now means the engine is running smoothly and I have also replaced the 2:1 exhaust pipe. Alas, the exhaust is still blowing and I need to replace one of the exhaust manifolds (aim to do both given labour of replacing one) but I'm having difficulty tracking down a 1-3 cylinder and 4-6 cylinder exhaust manifold.
Merc part nos (I think):
114 490 1419 & 114 490 1519.
I've tried Niemoller in Germany but they can't help and am currently trying Adsit in USA (appear very cheap from website) but they have quoted in the past for two individual downpipes not the 2:1 I've replaced so concerned whether their manifolds will fit the 2:1 pipe.
Does anyone know of a cheap UK supplier or can comment on whether the Adsit parts an be used?
