Hello English MB friends,
I am from Holland and a great W114 W115 fan.
In my W114 I have an original VDO revolution counter. This counter is placed on the spot where normally the clock is placed and is in the same style as the other instruments. Specially made for the W108, W109, W115 and W114, in 4, 6, 8 and 4-cylinder diesel versions.
These counters are rare here in Holland. I bought once an English article about the W114 280E (1974) and in that article was stated that a Rev. counter was a standard on the 280 models.
Three questions:
1) Does anyone know if that is true?
2) Was there a clock placed somewhere else?
3) Does anyone has some counters for sale?
I know a lot of people (about 300) with a W114 or W115. So have you one of these counters for us, let it know.
Greetings,
Jeroen
