1980 W123 280 ce tappet adjustment?

Hi everyone, I'm new to posting on this forum but have found it very good for advice, thanks alot.

My 120,000 mile 1980 280Ce has noisey tappets, does anyone know if they are adjustable or hydraulic? if they're adjustable what are the clearances? sequence for adjustment?

Valve clearances are adjustable and values are in the Haynes manual. Make sure you buy the special cranked tool as access is next to impossible with an ordinary spanner.
