1981 sl leaking power steering fluid

My SL is getting through power steering fluid at a rate of knots ... any thoughts on whether it can be repaired (seen a repair kit online) or whether a new unit is called for.

Lots of places it could be leaking from, pump, hoses, steering box, all of which can be sorted.

You need to find where it's leaking from first?

As Richard above, get some engine cleaner ,and wash it all clean, then you will see where it is leaking

It's actually leaking from one of the connections on the pump itself (red fluid covering one of the connections).
