My 190e was going through so much oil I thought Tony Blair my invade my house and claim I had weapons of mass destruction so I thought I'd cure the problem and get my head sorted, cylinder head that is.

I have just completed a cylinder head overhaul and put the whole thing back together and with everything accounted for and no spare nuts I had hoped she might start up but she didn't.

It does turn over but doesn't fire. Took the first two spark plugs and I can't smell any petrol on them so I know it's something to do with the injection system.

Any ideas.

Did you definately attach the fuel flow and return pipes back the right way round. Is the timing set up correctly i.e. is there compression and is it attemption to spark at the correct time? Have you put the plug on the cold start valve? Have you made sure that all hoses and vacuum pipesare secure including those under the air filter?
