1984 280sL Dash Gremlins?

Hello,
Our 280SL dash is behaving oddly...
1).. The charge light doesn't quite go out, though the battery charges ok and the ouput voltage is fine, diode going in alternator?
2).. The brake warning light has a mind of it's own, fluid levels ok and the hand brake off.
3).. the low fuel warning light is on even (very dull) when the car is full

I suspect a bad earth somewhere but not sure, could be the water leaks from the windscreen causing corrosion

This is hard to answer, did all of the faults happen at the same time, if they did, then yes it would appear that a common earth has gone, the alternator lamp works in conjuntion with the exiter wire, and if it is charging OK. I do not know the model well enough to give any advice.
