I am looking at buying one of the above - but have one or two specific worries.
1. Price - this car is claimed low mileage for year, good condition, new MOT etc, but is under a grand. I have seen some more recent 230TE's for sale in my area at around the 1300 mark so am still going to give it a look, when he lets me. Which leads me to...
2. The car appeared in the freeads a week or so ago but when I called the vendor says it needs an air valve for the injection system to cure some 'slightly rough running' hopefully tonight it will be fitted and good to go. I call again this evening. Is this a known problem or is it fatal sounding?
I will be doing the HPI check for no. plate, VIN & mot certificate no. before looking at it, and assuming this checks out fine will go have a look.
So what do I really look for.
