I have this wobble at low speed....up to 35mph and then it smooths out and even drives well at 80mph...I had the tires checked, but they are supposedly fine. It was suggested it could be a drivetrain issue...any ideas, Thks, Dan

Hello and welcome :D:D

This wobble is a bit to low a speed to be wheel balancing I think,,prop shaft center bearing perhaps or engine mounts collapsed throwing the drive train out of line.

If you can feel it through the steering wheel, then it is balancing,if you can feel it through the whole car then the above things could be at fault

I'd go for propshaft bearing or couplings, if the front coupling has torn inspect the engine mounts, if the back one has torn it may be a subframe mounting. If the subframe is getting a bit loose the handling will be affected (cross wind stability affected) and it may clonk a little on take off, the car will drive OK but drive much better once the sub frame mounts are sorted.

The replacement couplings will fail prematurely if there is an underlying cause, mine did.
