Hello,

I have this car 1986 MERCEDES 190 AUTO SILVER... its 59k geniune miles and the best condition car I've seen in some time, 19 years old with one owner since 1986-2005(feb), I wondered what of value this car is?

Based on what I have seen on eBay, if the car is in original top-notch condition with no tin worm and no major body repairs and an MOT then I would say it is worth between £2,500 and £3,000. If it has a full M-B history (with dealer stamps *and* receipts) and all old MOTs then you can easily add another £1,000.

The value of the car will increase by around £300 per year from next year: it will start to attract more enthusiasts and restorers at this age.

190s do have a cult following--they are very well made and certainly there is a demand for good ones.

2.5-4K is er optimistic, but I'd say in the classifieds of the real world you're talking anything from 300 for a shabby example runabout to maybe 2000 top whack for full history, no dings, good spec example. The fact its a pre facelift model means its less desirable with that simplex chain (needs changing every 60 k and the oil changes are more frequent).

Fair comment. But a 1984 W123 200T with one owner, no rust, FMBH, etc, etc made almost £4K; 1985 280E almost £5K. All depends on what people will pay and 190s are a potential future classic.
