1988 560SL cold start

hi was wondering if someone knows about the 88 560sl starting bugs, or if they are any?

I have a difficult time starting, when it does fire there is a minute of rough idle, then it's fine. Is there an known issue with the cold start switch.

I just purchased the vehicle and live on Kauai, where there aren't any MB dealers. Any information would be welcomed
